First and foremost, a huge thank you to everyone who reserved a ticket and to all of you who shared in our excitement for this event. Your enthusiasm has meant the world to us.
When we started this journey on November 21st, we knew that time would be our biggest challenge. And yet, against all odds, we pulled it off. The website looks amazing, we secured an incredible venue, navigated logistics with multiple rental companies, and handled countless moving parts.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have the most skilled, dedicated, and passionate people imaginable working on this project. And we feel like we let them down the most.
But in the end, the only thing we didn’t have was time. And it was only when we finally had the red button in hand, the culmination of blood, sweat, and tears poured in by the entire team, built with nothing but love of the game and the community, that we realized: six weeks isn’t enough for everyone to pull together the kind of money needed to attend. we realized this in November, but we wanted this more than anything.
Ironically, this event was never just about throwing a party, it was about celebrating everything we’ve built together. And to truly do that justice, we’ve made the tough and painful but necessary decision to push the event back by 12 months. Yes, one year.
There will be a meetup during these days. We still want to see you and celebrate together! If you’ve already made travel plans and are dedicated to joining us, please reach out to @Ssoxalotl or @TT so we can add you to the group chat with everyone attending. We’ll organize meetups, activities, and fun spots to visit to make sure you still have an amazing weekend, one that’s going to be an absolute blast.
At the end of the day, this is just a party, but it’s one we want to do right. And we will.
And as always see you Wednesday or Friday. Hydrate responsibly.
